Pep Guardiola will be looking to end Manchester City’s long wait for Champions League quarter-final success as they attempt to beat Borussia Dortmund in their first leg at the Etihad Stadium tonight.
The Sky Blues have exited Europe in the last eight in each of the last three seasons and their wait for a semi-final place stretches back to 2016.
But with a fully fit squad to choose from, Guardiola will be hoping they can finally book their place in the last four in eight days time.
If they are to do that, they will need to put in a strong display at the Etihad and keep Norwegian sensation Erling Haaland quiet.
The Dortmund superstar has already scored ten times in the Champions League this season, more than any other player.
However, he will be without the service of Jadon Sancho, who will not be able to play on his return to his former club due to injury.
Nevertheless, Dortmund will be up for this one as they look to reach the semis for the first time since they finished runners-up to Bayern Munich in 2013.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.
