Jessie Holmes has won his second consecutive Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Nome, Alaska. The former reality TV star completed the roughly 1,000-mile (1,609-kilometer) course in nine days, seven hours, and 32 minutes.
As this year’s winner, Holmes received an $80,000 prize. He also earned an additional $5,500 in cash and $4,500 in gold nuggets for sweeping every special award along the trail.
Holmes made his Iditarod debut in 2018 and has competed every year since, earning five top-10 finishes in addition to his two victories.
