Hairy Bikers chef Si King has reflected on the "overwhelming" sight of thousands of motorcyclists honouring Dave Myers this weekend.
The presenter died in February at the age of 66 after being diagnosed with cancer.
Motorcyclists travelled from London to Myers’ hometown in Barrow-in-Furness on Saturday, 8 June, as part of the first Dave Day raising funds for the Institute of Cancer Research, London, and children’s charity the NSPCC.
"It was the most remarkable, overwhelming sense of togetherness and community," King told the BBC.
Police figures estimated around 46,000 riders turned out for the event, he added.
