All Attendance Allowance money is paid directly into a person’s bank, building society or credit union account for ease. 

The payment, in addition, is not a means-tested benefit, the government has explained.

This means what a person earns, or how much they have put aside in savings, will not affect the total sum they receive from Attendance Allowance.

Furthermore, it is important to note that an individual will not need to have someone caring for them in order to claim Attendance Allowance.
