Bryan Kohberger has been sentenced to four life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders of four University of Idaho students. Kohberger was also sentenced to 10 years for burglary. Judge Steven Hippler also fined him $50,000 and a civil penalty of $5,000 for each victim, payable to the families.
During his sentencing, Kohberger remained seated with his eyes trained on the bench, showing no visible emotion. He declined to speak when asked by the judge.
On 13 November 2022, Kohberger stabbed the students to death in their off-campus residence after a night out. After a six-week manhunt, he was arrested at his family home in Pennsylvania.
