The Venezuelan government has begun releasing detainees considered political prisoners by human rights groups. The move comes after the US seized President Nicolás Maduro during a raid on the capital. In a Truth Social post, US President Donald Trump said that the release of political prisoners was "a very important and smart gesture" from Venezuela. BBC reporter Norberto Paredes reports from outside the 'El Helicoide' prison as detainees are released.
