Now then, Norrie errs and allows Zverev to move 0-30 up against the serve.
Norrie responds with a nice drop shot winner but a lose forehand gifts two break points to the German.
Zverev takes the first one as Norrie hooks a forehand too long!
The German fans can be heard in the crowd cheering now!

Norrie has been up against it when trying to return Zverev’s serve. There seems to have been a switch there though as the German’s first serve percentage has dropped.
He’s still a dangerous player and proves it with a backhand smash from the net to move 30-0 up.
Zverev holds serve to love.

A wonderful service game sees Norrie start off with a hold to 15.
Smooth sailing at the start of the set and Norrie knows he’ll need to weather a response from Zverev.

In the first set Zverev rattled off three games in a row to clinch the win and he needs to do the same here.
The world No.3 wastes no time in getting points on the board and swiftly moves 30-15 up.
Zverev’s power, which seems to come so easily to him, works Norrie deep behind the baseline and the Brit does his best to defend. Zverev strides into the forecourt but smokes a forehand too long! 30-30.
Wow! A blistering return of serve from Norrie puts him at set point, it’s also his first break point of the second set.
Zverev misses his first serve, his second is aimed at the centre of the box and Norrie drills it back. Zverev hooks a forehand into the net!
Norrie wins the set!

Opportunity!
Norrie flicks a forehand into the net at 15-15 and gives Zverev a lead in this game.
The Brit responds beautifully and pulls a point back for 30-30.
Norrie then serves out wide and forces Zverev long which elicits cheers from the crowd.
Lovely! Norrie meets the return of serve and smashes his follow up into the open side of court to take his hold!
No joy for Zverev in that one.

Zverev won’t panic. He was in this exact position in the first set and knows his serve is peforming well.
He starts this next game with an ace then gets drawn into a rally. He targets the back right corner with a forehand but pushes his effort too wide.
Norrie brings Zverev up to the net in the next rally and tries to beat him with a backhand. Zverev volleys over that shot then receives a powerful return aimed at the body which he can’t get back.
From 15-30 down, Zverev dials in and rattles off three big serves to flummax Norrie and get over the line.

The crowd seems fairly even in terms of support with the British fans louder in their encouragement of Norrie.
Norrie responds with a spinning drop shot that brings Zverev forward. The German flicks over a return but Norrie positioned perfectly to drill a forehand past him to move ahead.
Norrie works his way up to 40-15 and sends a serve wide for an ace!
Great service game.

There’s a slightly longer break than usual at the change of ends after that long game - it lasted over 10 minutes.
Zverev did his best to force a break but Norrie clung on to hold.
The perfect response from the German would now but a hold of serve to love.
He starts well by taking the first couple of points but a backhand into the tape puts Norrie on the board.
At 30-15, Zverev serves out wide and flings down an ace which Norrie can do nothing about.
Norrie persists and is awarded with another backhand error from Zverev but it isn’t enough. Zverev holds.
