Thousands of miles from Vienna, hundreds of Americans gathered in Washington DC to watch the Eurovision Song Contest.
Eurovision opened voting to the 'Rest of the World' - including the United States - during the 2023 contest in Liverpool, and US enthusiasm has only grown since.
At the watch party, attendees cheered passionately for countries including Finland, Bulgaria and Greece, embracing the sequins, spectacle, and sheer drama that make Eurovision unlike any other show on earth.
