    Coventry City ready to break club record for fourth time this summer

    Coventry City are on the verge of a club record move for Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi.

    The deal, worth €27m plus €3m add-ons, will see the from FC Nordsjælland star move to Coventry to boost Frank Lampard’s side and their battle to avoid relegation, reports Tipsbladet.

    It will be the fourth time Coventry have broken their club record transfer this summer alone.

    Man City consider Pedro Neto move?

    Enzo Maresca could push for a reunion with Pedro Neto at Man City with the club making contact with the Chelsea winger’s team, reports Fabrizio Romano.

    Savinho’s future is unclear once more, with Tottenham linked to the Brazilian after a failed move last year.

    Spurs are also said to admire the Portugal international and could switch targets if progress is not made on Savinho.

    Tottenham defender heading to Middlesbrough

    Tottenham have agreed a deal with Middlesbrough over centre-back Ashley Phillips.

    The Standard say that Spurs will be paid a fee of £7m plus further add ons for the 21-year-old who makes his way north to the Championship side.

    Tottenham are also believed to have negotiated a sell-on clause in the deal as well.

    Phillips has made over 100 Championship appearances already across spells with Blackburn, Plymouth and Stoke.

    Balogun offered to Spurs?

    Folarin Balogun has been offered to Tottenham via intermediaries, according to the Sun.

    The former Arsenal forward looks set for a move away from Monaco after a fine World Cup for the United States.

    And Roberto De Zerbi could boost his attack with a deal for the 25-year-old, who scored 19 goals in all competitions last term before striking three times for the USMNT in four World Cup appearances.

    Napoli interested in Gabriel Jesus

    Napoli are interested in signing Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus.

    Napoli’s coach, Massimiliano Allegri is keen on the Brazilian but making a move for him will take time.

    The Serie A side must first find clubs for Lorenzo Lucca or Romelu Lukaku.

    Arsenal have a price of around £18m for Jesus who is into the final year of his deal with the club.

    Sky Sports News report that the clubs are speaking about prices though no offer has been made official.

    Man City reject Barcelona offer for Rodri

    Sky Sports News are reporting that Manchester City have rejected an initial offer from Barcelona for Rodri.

    The details of the offer are not known but City consider the proposed fee to be too low and talks have halted between the clubs.

    City hope Rodri remains at the club but the midfield is said to favour a move to Barcelona should the Spanish side increase their offer and match City’s valuation (believed to be around £45m).

    If Rodri does depart, City have their sights on Enzo Fernandez who is said to be a ‘dream’ signing for new manager, and former Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca.

    Lukic completes Ipswich medical

    Sasa Lukic has completed a medical with Ipswich medical ahead of a permanent move from Fulham.

    Sky Sports News claims that the deal is worth £9m and that Lukic will sign on a four-year deal.

    Vinicius's new deal

    Vinicius Junior has signed a new six-year deal at Real Madrid.

    The 26-year-old was in the final year of his previous deal with the club which prompted heavy interest from Arsenal.

    But, he will now remain at Real until 2032.

    In a statement Real Madrid wrote: "Vinicius has become one of the most important players in one of the most successful periods in our history."
