Valencia welcome Atletico Madrid to the Mestalla on Friday evening.
The race for a top-four spot in La Liga has become increasingly tense in recent weeks, with just four points separating five sides.
Diego Simeone’s side have endured an indifferent run of form in the league as of late, suffering defeats against Eibar and Real Madrid, as well as being held by Leganes. They will also have one eye on their upcoming Champions League last-16 tie against Liverpool.
But Valencia have also struggled, having been knockout out of the Copa del Rey by Granada before a comprehensive 3-0 defeat against Getafe.
