KYIV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday his military would be able to hold ground in the eastern Donbas region and recapture territory if his Western backers sped up arms deliveries.
"If weapon (deliveries) are accelerated -- namely long-range weapons -- we will not only not withdraw from Bakhmut, we will begin to deoccupy Donbas, which has been occupied since 2014," Zelensky told reporters after a summit with senior EU officials in Kyiv.
