Arsenal host holders Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals this evening.

Mikel Arteta’s side were thrashed comfortably by City shortly after the restart but are riding a recent wave of momentum after a surprise victory over champions Liverpool earlier this week.

Pep Guardiola’s side are in a buoyant mood, though, after their two-year Champions League ban was overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

After back-to-back 5-0 victories against Brighton and Newcastle, Guardiola rested a number of his key players for a nervy victory over relegation-threatened Bournemouth as City set their targets on another domestic cup double.

Bernd Leno, Gabriel Martinelli, Pablo Mari and Calum Chambers are all sidelined through injury, while Eddie Nketiah is suspended. Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi have been left out once again.

Meanwhile, City remain without Sergio Aguero, but are in good shape otherwise, with Kevin De Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte both rested against Bournemouth.
