The Gunners were comfortably thrashed 3-0 by City in the Premier League shortly after the restart, although a surprise win against Liverpool earlier this week have summoned a surge of momentum.

Pep Guardiola’s side are in a buoyant mood after successfully overturning their two-year Champions League ban. City have scored 12 goals in their last three games and rested a number of key players against Bournemouth, with their sights firmly set on another domestic cup double.
