An Encanto theatre show and a Little Mermaid-themed piano bar have been revealed among the magical features that guests will find aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship next year.
Disney Believe will embark on its maiden voyage around the Bahamas and Caribbean on 18 December 2027, and its main attractions were revealed this week.
Once launched, Disney Believe will be the fourth Wish class ship. Each has its own theme; the ship joins the enchantment-themed Disney Wish, adventure-themed Disney Treasure and heroes and villains-themed Disney Destiny. Disney Believe will be dedicated to “promise and possibilities”.
Here are the new features that guests will find on board the 4,000 capacity ship.
The Grand Hall
When embarking a Disney cruise ship guests will enter via the Grand Hall.
Each ship has its own statue, and Disney Believe will feature a giant Moana alongside her trusty companions Pua and Heihei.
There will be an ocean-hued carpet and a chandelier modelled after the sea’s fluid movement with the heart of Te Fiti hidden within.
Character cabins
The cabins aboard Disney Believe will feature artwork inspired by Disney stories such as Moana, Coco and The Lion King.
The ship’s 2,000 square feet two-storey Believe Tower Suite, hidden in a fake funnel on the top deck of the front of the ship, will be Magic Kingdom-themed, with a lights shaped like fireworks and balloons.
Bow and stern characters
Disney characters will also feature at the front or bow of the ship and at the back or stern.
An image of Tinkerbell will be on the bow, with silhouettes of other Neverland characters including Peter Pan, Wendy and Captain Hook.
Large models of Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear and Woody will be on the bow, both holding crayons drawing the ship’s name.
Theatre shows
Disney’s ships host exclusive theatre shows and Believe guests will finally be able to talk about Bruno thanks to a stage adaptation of Encanto, following Mirabel on a quest to save her loved ones and their miraculous home.
Additionally, Tangled:The Musical, a headline show aboard Disney Magic, will also be on Disney Believe.
Disney Seas the Adventure, an original show for the Wish class vessels featuring beloved Disney and Pixar characters and iconic songs, completes the theatre lineup.

Entertainment
Beyond the Walt Disney Theatre, guests will be able to visit Gazelle, an entertainment venue inspired by the metropolis from Disney Animation’s Zootopia films.
By day, this location will host family-focused trivia, games and immersive character encounters, and in the evenings there will be adult-exclusive entertainment, such as silent discos and variety acts.
Additionally, for the first time on a Disney ship, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia will star in a new family show, asking guests to help them solve their latest case.
Other guest favourites such as the Hero Zone sports venue, two cinemas and Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, featuring Disney’s famous fireworks at sea, will be on board.
Rotational dining
Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining system, where guests eat at three different specialty restaurants during their voyage, will continue on Believe.
The ship will include Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a new untold chapter in the Frozen story featuring much-lowed characters such as Oaken, Anna and Kristoff.
Set in a sommerhus courtyard deep within the forest, Oaken and his family will invite guests to dine together while enjoying the musical stylings of his cousins, who will play their own reimagined renditions of famous tunes from the Frozen soundtrack.
Returning from its sister ships, 1923 will celebrate the legacy of Disney animation with more than 1,000 drawings, props and other animation tools. Guests can also visit the superhero-themed Worlds of Marvel for a Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix immersive dinner.

Themed bars
The ship will have a Little Mermaid-themed piano lounge called Sea Notes, inspired by Ariel’s grotto. The centrepiece of the space is an elegant pearlescent piano.
Guests can also step into a vintage storybook-themed lounge bar at Wishing Well inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
It will be decorated as an enchanting castle courtyard under a canopy of white blossoms and red apples, with furnishings draped in the bold colours of Snow White’s gown, with hand-carved wood framing on the stage that will nod to the Seven Dwarfs cottage. The lounge will host a variety of activities and feature live musical performances to enjoy alongside a selection of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffees.
Disney Believe will have its own observatory-themed pub called Skygazers, where passengers can gather beneath the story-filled evening sky. It will feature towering bookshelves, astronomical instruments and celestial maps, including props and nods to classic Disney stories.
The Haunted Mansion Parlour and the adult-only Quiet Cove and Palo’s Steakhouse will also be back on Believe.
Sweet treats
Two new cafes – Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora – will debut onboard Disney Believe.
Big Hero Sips is inspired by San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6 while Café Kakamora – named after the curious piratical coconut creatures that are both friend and foe to Moana – will draw inspiration from Motunui, the storied island.
The Inside Out: Joyful Sweets shop will feature new characters from Pixar’s Inside Out 2, with larger-than-life sculptures of Joy, Sadness, Anxiety, Envy, and the Sense of Self structure.
Kids’ clubs
Children aged three to 10 will be looked after in a wonderland of immersive spaces at Disney’s Oceaneer Club.
Little cruisers will enter, or slide, into one of five themed areas: Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, or Mickey and Minnie’s Captain's Deck.
Exclusive to the Disney Believe, the entrance to Disney’s Oceaneer Club will have a Monsters Inc there, featuring Caution: 2319 warning tape, which signals a monster’s contact with a human item. There will even be a figure of Mike Wazowski.
At It’s a Small World Nursery, families can use babysitting services for children aged six months to three years old.
Tweens ages 11 to 13 can relax at Edge, a bright hangout inspired by a New York City loft. At Vibe, teens ages 14 to 17 will step into a Parisian-style loft to meet new friends, watch movies, play games and participate in group activities.
The Hideaway will also serve as a hangout for older kids to relax or party, with a dance floor and DJ booth.
AquaMouse
Disney Cruise Line’s signature attraction at sea, the AquaMouse, will return, taking guests around the ship on a 760-foot-long water ride featuring an exclusive Mickey and Minnie Mouse cartoon.
Toddlers can also visit the Toy Story-themed splash park, which has a wading pool, family waterslide and a smoothie bar.
Guests can start booking sailings aboard Disney Believe from 19 October 2026.
