Regent Seven Seas has launched a range of pre and post-cruise programmes aimed at petrolheads.

The luxury cruise line has partnered with car experience provider Motorsport Lab to offer trips before and after selected European sailings next summer that celebrate local motoring cultures.

Experiences include driving supercars such as classic Porsches and Lamborghinis around Barcelona’s historic Terramar racetrack. Guests will also visit a local motorsport collection.

This is available as an activity after a Mediterranean cruise from Venice to Barcelona aboard Seven Seas Grandeur on 19 July 2027. There is also a pre-cruise version on a solar eclipse sailing departing on 29 July from Barcelona to Rome.

Three summer cruises next year also offer the chance to explore the worlds of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani at museums across Italy’s motor valley in the Emilia-Romagna region.

Guests can drive a Ferrari on the roads of Maranello, through Bologna and Modena, before dining at Cavallino, the car maker’s restaurant.

The excursions costs £6,077 per guest and are available on the nine-night “Eclipse the Ordinary” cruise, departing on 29 July, or on a 20-night “Culinary Wonders” sailing, departing from Rome on 7 August.

Regent’s newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige, also offers the trip after a seven-night “History & Heritage” itinerary aboard Seven Seas Prestige. It sails from Athens to Rome on 5 August.

For an experience closer to home, two sailings on Seven Seas Voyager will visit the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex during August. Passenger will be able to experiences laps of the racetrack, plus take part in specialised driving activities alongside professional golf instruction, clay shooting, English tea and an art tour.

The experience, priced at £5,692 per person, can be purchased before and after an 18-night “Land of Vikings“ sailing from Copenhagen to Southampton on 3 August. It is also available on the 12-night “Gourmet and Glamour”round trip sailing from Southampton to France and Spain, departing on 21 August.
