Hotels may be filling up ahead of next year’s Monaco Grand Prix but there is another accommodation option – staying on a cruise ship.
MSC-owned luxury cruise line Explora Journeys has unveiled plans to dock just 150 metres from the famous circuit.
Its first ship, Explora I, will stay at Port Hercule for three days from 2 June 2027.
This will be the third year in a row that the ship has remained in the region for the race.
Reservations for suites, with three-day Grandstand access, are already sold out but interested guests can register their interest with the brand.
Suites with three-day Paddock Club hospitality will also be released soon. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
For those looking to extend their time on board, the Monaco race weekend can be combined with a cruise before or after the event. Guests can sail from Rome to Monaco from 24 May to 7 June or continue from Monaco to Barcelona between 2 to 14 June, or combine both.

“Returning for a third consecutive year reflects both the success of this experience and our ambition to continue going beyond the traditional ocean journey.”
On board, passengers can stay in ocean-front suites with their own private terrace and enjoy six restaurants and 12 bars and lounges.
Explora Journeys and MSC Cruises branding is regularly seen at Grand Prix races as the cruise line is major sponsor of the event,
MSC Cruises has been announced as title sponsor of three FIA Formula One World Championship Grand Prix races next year.
The three races are the Belgian, Turkish and Portuguese Grands Prix, running under the MSC Cruises name throughout 2027.
