With the 2026 World Cup just months away, Mexico is finishing significant renovations at Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City.
The airport is undergoing major upgrades to modernise aging infrastructure and increase capacity ahead of the tournament. However, logistical challenges and budget constraints have caused delays, putting crews in a race against time to complete the work.
The BBC's Will Grant takes us on a tour of the renovations both inside and outside the airport.
